Beast Battle Simulator Review: Bloody Clash Of All Kinds Of Animals

Beast Battle Simulator is a game where you can throw into a battle different kinds of real life or fantasy beasts. Put some bonkers weapons on them and watch how they devour each other in a really nasty way. You can download Beast Battle Simulator for Microsoft Windows only.

Graphics 2/5

The graphics and animation in this game aren’t detailed enough. The animals look bald without any fur - so the lion looks the same as a dinosaur from afar. The battle effects are faulty sometimes, e.g. the weapons don’t get the targets, but they end up dead or damaged. Dinosaurs' jaws sometimes look like a toy. Every scenery, whether it’s a mountain or a Colosseum, always looks like a desert with no grass or rocks.

Gameplay 3/5

There several modes available, in all of them the main goal of the game is to hit and smash your hoards of animals against each other. You can also choose which weapon to attach to your beasts. In Sandbox mode, you have to choose both battling parties from any animal you want, but in Challenge mode, for example, you have to fight sometimes against one or a group of beasts by default. Also in challenges, there are not only fighting tasks, but you have to destroy something there with the help of your beasts, e.g. Pyramids. You can even play deadly soccer in this game and see how crocodiles get smashed by giraffes. In any mode, you can either watch how the beasts battle automatically or you can take over at any side at any time. Also, there’s protect-your-tower mode available where you have to defence against waves of other creatures.

Controls 4/5

At first, you have to create an army of animals before every battle. Choose them from the menu on the bottom left, they can be real ones, long time extinct or fantasy. On the top right you’ll see their HP and Damage. Put them into rows and columns with holding and dragging your left mouse button. You have your Animals, Dinos, Gear and Devices icons at the bottom left, your battle value in dollars on the bottom right.

Replay Value 5/5

In a way, it’s a strategy game because the main thing that you do here is to choose and set both sides of your battle. Especially you must choose carefully when you fight against an AI enemy like a herd of evil birds or a giant T-Rex. And sometimes you’re told which animal you can and should choose. So you might come back to playing this game because you have so many options of smashing different creatures against each other and be surprised sometimes by who actually wins.

The Bottom Line

From this Beast Battle Simulator review, you can already tell that this is a fun, funny and ridiculous game at times. Great amount of beasts aren’t impressive enough when you have poor engine and game’s physics. Animals can fall over and slip on their way to the enemies. Everything is grey and chunky, you can see sometimes that landscape’s grids are copy-pasted. Sometimes you can also end up underground and see through graphics. All of that actually adds to the ridiculous part of the game and makes it kind of more fun.

Download Beast Battle Simulator if you’re a fan of battle simulators and not too picky about the graphics. And if you like blood and “meat” you might enjoy this game as well.

Pros : Fun game to play;
A lot of blood and violence;
Variety of modes to play.

Cons : Poor graphics;
Now a great engine.
